At Dignity Health Woodland Memorial Hospital Family Birth Center, we understand that having a baby is one of the most important and memorable experiences in your life. From the moment you begin your pregnancy journey, our team of experienced and compassionate doctors, nurses, and staff are dedicated to providing you and your baby with the highest quality care in a comfortable and supportive environment.

To help you prepare for your special journey, we offer live, virtual childbirth classes to help you prepare for labor, delivery and postpartum. You can also get a look at our facility by joining one of our Stork tours of the Family Birth Center in Woodland Memorial Hospital.

Our Birth Center features include:

• Spacious private birthing suites with amenities such as Tubs in all Family Birth Center birthing suites, WiFi access, and comfortable overnight sleepers for your support person
  
  
• A celebratory meal, spa products, and a diaper bag filled with essentials for healthy babies
  
  
• Rooming in - keeping mom and baby together during your stay
  
  
• Doula Services - doulas are available to anyone who delivers at Woodland Memorial Hospital free of charge. A doula is a trained professional that provides physical and emotional support to a woman and her support team during labor and birth.
  
  
• Pain relief options - including nitrous oxide, aromatherapy, epidural anesthesia, patient-controlled epidural analgesia water, Remifentanil (patient-controlled IV) and water laboring
  
  
• Lactation and breastfeeding support services - while at the Birthing Center, and follow-up care after you go home
