Cystoscopy
Cystoscopy is an examination of the bladder and urethra using a cystoscope. A cystoscope is a thin, tube-like instrument with a light, lens, and a tool to remove tissue samples.

Treatments for BPH
Treatment for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) most commonly involves the use of medications such as alpha blockers, to minimize the symptoms of prostate enlargement. In severe cases surgery may be required to unblock the flow of urine.

Removal of Kidney Stones
There are a number of methods used for the removal of kidney stones. Small stones may be dissolved with certain medications and drinking large amounts of water. Larger stones can be broken up using sound waves or removed with the use of nephroscope and small instruments inserted through a small incision in the abdomen.

Anti-Incontinence Surgery
The most commonly used surgery in the treatment of incontinence currently is sling surgery, including synthetic mid-urethral slings or non-synthetic bladder neck slings.

Catheter Placement
Proper catheter placement involves putting lubricant jelly on the catheter to help it go in smoothly. The end of the catheter with the deflated balloon will be inserted into your urethra. The catheter should move slowly and gently into your bladder.

Ultrasounds
Ultrasound imaging uses sound waves to produce pictures of the inside of the body. It is used to help diagnose the causes of pain, swelling and infection in the body and to examine a baby in pregnant women and the brain and hips in infants.

Suture Removal
Suture removal is the removal of non-absorbent sutures, also known as stiches, which is typically done once a wound heals. Suture removal typically occurs 7 to 14 days after they are put into place. However, the timing depends on how well the wound has healed and how extensive the surgery was.

A needle biopsy is a procedure to obtain a sample of cells from your body for laboratory testing. Common needle biopsy procedures include fine-needle aspiration and core needle biopsy.

Bladder Cancer
Bladder cancer is a common type of cancer that begins in the cells of the bladder. The bladder is a hollow muscular organ in your lower abdomen that stores urine.

Enlarged Prostate
An enlarged prostate is when the prostate gland increases in size blocking the flow of urine out of the bladder and can cause bladder, urinary tract or kidney problems.

Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH)
A benign (not cancer) condition in which an overgrowth of prostate tissue pushes against the urethra and the bladder, blocking the flow of urine.

Kidney Stones
Kidney stones are hard deposits that form in the kidneys. These deposits are made of minerals and salts and are typically result from there being more crystal-forming minerals in your urine that can be diluted. Your urine can also be deficient in substances that help keep these crystals from coming together to form stones.

Overactive Bladder
Overactive bladder is a condition in which the urge to urinate is frequent and difficult to control. This can result in incontinence, which is the involuntary loss of urine. There are a number of treatments for overactive bladder, such as pelvic floor exercises, medications, and nerve stimulation.

Prostatitis
Prostatitis is a condition that is characterized by the inflammation and swelling of the prostate gland. This is typically caused by infection, injury, or a disorder of the immune system. the condition may improve on its own, or you may need antibiotics or other treatment to resolve it.

Testicular Cancer
Testicular cancer is cancer that is caused by the mutation of cells in the testicles. These mutated cells grow and multiply rapidly, crowding out and destroying health cells. This cancer can spread to other areas of the body.
