Founded in 1912, Dignity Health - St. John's Regional Medical Center (SJRMC) is a 365-bed, acute care, non-profit hospital located in Oxnard, California. Serving Ventura County for more than one hundred years. SJRMC has been named a Top 250 hospital by Healthgrades. As a leader in stroke care, SJRMC is the first and only Certified Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center in Ventura County and is a recipient of the American Heart Association's, Get with the Guidelines-Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award. Designated as a STEMI Receiving Center, SJRMC is highly recognized for excellence in cardiac care and has been named a Blue Distinction Center for Cardiac Care by Blue Shield of California. Its Cancer Center is accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer and the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers. The Toshiba Vantage 3T MRI is an advanced MRI technology that uses a short magnet to enhance the images while maintaining patient comfort. The scanning is quiet and the patient is immersed in a MR Theater experience.

Ultrasound

Ultrasound imaging uses sound waves to produce pictures of the inside of the body. It is used to help diagnose the causes of pain, swelling and infection in the body and to examine a baby in pregnant women and the brain and hips in infants.

Imaging Services

Imaging services involve the use of technology to obtain images of inside the body. There are a variety of imaging technologies, such as ultrasound, computerized tomography (CT) scan, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

X-ray

X-rays are the most frequently used form of imaging to see inside the human body. It uses a focused beam and a special detector to obtain images of body anatomy.

CT Scanning /Coronary CT Angiography (CCTA)

CT angiography is a medical test that combines a CT scan with an injection of a special dye. That dye produces pictures of blood vessels and tissues in a part of the body.
