About Dignity Health - St. John's Hospital Camarillo

Founded in 1974, Dignity Health - St. John's Hospital Camarillo (SJHC) is nestled in the heart of Camarillo, California. The newly constructed hospital houses 58 acute care and 74 skilled nursing beds. SJHC is designated as a Primary Stroke Center by the Joint Commission and a recipient of the American Heart Association's, Get with the Guidelines-Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award. SJHC is home to Camarillo's first-ever cardiac catheterization lab and its Emergency Department is an accredited Level III Geriatric Emergency Department. SJHC and its sister hospital, St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Oxnard, Calif., comprise the largest acute health care organization in Ventura County.
